Rainbow Chevrons

A special young lady was eight last weekend. She has a passion for stationery.
A Fiber Flux pattern was tweaked for cotton in my stash,
extra stitches as my yarn weight was less than the pattern,
extra rows to make a rainbow,

a splash of pink to fill the gaps...

...and a bright green button.

A unique pencil case - no-one else has one quite like this!

It was interesting to work with several brands of cotton in one project
...quality and price go hand in hand!

49g of cotton busted

I hear it was proudly the subject of show and tell....
Happy Birthday! May your days be filled with rainbows! x

What a very lucky birthday girl. The pencil case is so pretty and colourful. The chevron design worked perfectly for it. Definitely well worth a show and tell!
