Crochet Purse-uits

This summery rainbow purse was made for a seventh birthday present.

A rectangular strip of tweed stitches from 500 crochet blocks folded at the base and sewn up the sides.
I preferred the texture of the stitch pattern on the reverse  - so it is inside out!
Two ch stitch drawstrings complete the purse...

Hooked with stashed variegated cotton it bagged 27g!

I might make one for myself - after the happy accident that changed my own purse direction!

Cute. Half the time I can't even tell which side is the right side and which side isn't. :) I turn my bowls inside out after they are made because they tend to sit flatter that way for some reason. :) Best wishes, Tammy
