Felt and Football!

This is just a quickie to say how I've spent a fantastic afternoon felting whilst listening to the footie
(and we won!!)

This leaf was blown to our back door in a huge gust earlier this week

It reminded me of Becky's felted leaf....

Hope you all keep safe and dry in the forecasted blustery showery weather....
or enjoy the begining of the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness depending on where you are!

What a beautiful leaf - like a little gift from nature gently delivered right to your doorstep. I've tried felting and watching TV and failed miserably (and painfully!!). Those felting needles are just too lethal for multi-tasking :)
Pleased to hear that you are more coordinated than me, Ali!

Liz, the leaf did feel like a autumnal present.....
I was wet-felting...(on a tray) on my knee, lots of therapuetic rolling...you are right needlefelting and tv don't mix! x

Ali, I've just made a felt bowl inspired by your leaf! Too dark to take a decent photo now, but I'll add something to my blog tomorrow - thanks for the inspiration, Liz x

I love the colours of autumn, looking forward to seeing the results of your wet felting.

Mist and mellow fruitfulness would be good. At the moment it's downpours and soggy offerings *sigh*
That leaf is stunning, close to Autumnal perfection. All I've had blown in to the house recently is damp , grumpy teenagers! I'd take the leaf any day :o)
