Now that's cute, a real nest! I think you need some of those weeny mini eggs from asda to fill it! And maybe a little owl peeping out over the top! Becky x

Liz, Its my smallest one at the grand height of 2.5cm and 4cm diameter...I started with a needlefelted disc of uncarded fleece.. and covered it with chocolate shetland wool top finished off with nasturtium and the hairy golden yellow merino! The disc has given it a bit of sturdiness at the bottom!
Becky..good ideas! tho I thought at the rate creme eggs are shrinking* it might fit one of those!!..*or is it my imagination..or has my appetite grown?! ;-)

Cream eggs have definitely shrunk! Love the colours in this one.

I should have started smaller, I might have more inclination to make a second. Mine is about 10 cm wide and 8cm high. I think I might stick to wet felting bowls - much quicker!
My husband and I moan every year about the shrinking of cream eggs, and yet the price keeps going up! Now, it that progress?!
